The PROTEMP series devices can be equipped with different cover variants: depending on the application, versions are available for salt-laden environments, heavily soiled environments, or with a reduced housing design for optimal integration. Our Peltier surface coolers, like our Peltier enclosure coolers, are available with covers made of stainless steel or anodized aluminium to meet your specific application requirements. To ensure maximum efficiency and low-noise operation, we use high-quality, double ball-bearing fans, which can also be supplied with speed control on request.
To protect your system, equipment, and the surface cooler itself from overheating in the event of a fault, our Peltier surface coolers are equipped with an alarm system. In addition, they are designed with an external protection rating of IP67 as standard to best protect your device against external environmental influences.

Our surface coolers, like our Peltier enclosure coolers, feature a particularly high COP (coefficient of performance). To achieve this, our Peltier surface coolers are supplied as standard with a flexible thermal interface foil, which ensures optimal thermal contact with the surface to be cooled, even if it is not perfectly flat. In addition, we use extremely cycle-resistant and durable Peltier modules with a GL-II structure. The external heat exchanger is also available in black or clear anodized versions upon request.
Furthermore, all our Peltier surface coolers are RoHS and REACH compliant and can be supplied as LABS-free on request.
