The switch cabinet coolers of the “AC” series are available in three sizes, each with two performance classes. They have built-in power supply units on the outside of the units. The units of the “AC” series can be operated with mains voltage and there is no additional power loss in the switch cabinet for operating the Peltier cooler. All switch cabinet coolers of the “AC” series are equipped with overheating protection and alarm relays. The exterior has been designed to meet IP67 protection class. The devices of the “AC” series are only suitable for cooling. However, a version for switching between cooling and heating is available on request.

Versions

Our size 2 AC switch cabinet coolers are designed for use in medium-sized switch cabinets. In addition, the units of the AC series have an already integrated wide-range power supply. This has a wide range input of 90-305 V-AC and is therefore connected to the normal mains supply. Our switch cabinet coolers can be installed in any position and guarantee a fast start-up by simple electrical connection. Due to the same external and connection dimensions, all size 2 switch cabinet coolers are interchangeable. This allows you to replace your switch cabinet cooler with a unit of the same size but with a higher capacity if required. The outside of all our AC switch cabinet coolers are designed in protection class IP67 as standard. The detailed data sheets for our devices can be found in our download area.

Reliable switch cabinet cooling

Our Peltier switch cabinet coolers of the AC series are already equipped with an appropriate wide-range power supply unit as standard to ensure problem-free connection without avoidable additional devices. The hoods are available in stainless steel as well as anodized aluminum to suit your specific application. For application areas such as desert regions, a version with a particularly robust sand storm hood is also possible. In order to ensure the highest possible degree of efficiency as well as a very low vibration and noise operation, we use high-quality, 2-fold ball-bearing mounted fans, which can also be supplied controllable on request. In order to protect your plant as well as the switch cabinet cooler from overheating in case of a breakdown, our units are equipped with a monitoring and alarm system.

Particularly high COP efficiency

Our switch cabinet coolers are characterized by a particularly high COP efficiency. To achieve this, we use highly efficient and robust Peltier modules. These not only ensure the required efficiency, but also have an extreme cycle stability and long service life due to their GL-II structure. If required, the internal heat exchangers can be supplied colorless or black anodized, making them particularly robust against environmental influences. In order to avoid the formation of condensation water and thus possible damage, our switch cabinet coolers can also be equipped with a patented condensate drain channel.

In addition, all our units are ROHS and REACH compliant and can also be manufactured LABS-free if required.
