Employee for Prototype Construction (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated employee (m/f/d) for our prototype workshop to reliably and precisely build prototypes and small series in the field of electronics. You will work closely with Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, taking full responsibility for the assembly, construction, and testing of electronic assemblies.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assembly of prototypes and models in the field of electronic and device systems
  • Reading and interpreting schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly of components according to drawings and specifications
  • Assembly of electronic assemblies:
    • Manual assembly (THT/SMD)
    • Operating and setting up small assembly machines
  • Soldering and reworking electronic assemblies (hand soldering, rework)
  • Performing functional tests and initial testing (including flashing/programming according to specifications)
  • Documentation of work steps, deviations, and improvements
  • Close collaboration with Development to optimize designs and processes

Your profile:

  • Completed technical training, e.g.,
    • Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems
    • Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering / Operational Technology
    • Mechatronics Technician or equivalent qualification
  • Confident handling of schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Experience in assembly and population of electronic assemblies
  • Proficient in soldering techniques (SMD/THT)
  • Experience with assembly machines is an advantage, but not required
  • Careful, structured, and reliable working style
